This is a cute story; fun font that is easy to read and the illustrations are beautiful! All kids can relate to the desire of owning their own pet and this author uses that narrative to introduce vocabulary essential to everyone for managing a budget! I love the Vocabulary Vault at the end—it provides parents a way to check their child’s understanding of the terms used in the book and is a great conversation starter for parents and their children about the importance of taking care of your money.
